The Town of Brookline announced Oct. 19 that second-quarter real estate and personal property tax bills for the current fiscal year are due Monday, Nov. 2.

The bills were mailed Sept. 30. The town is encouraging residents to pay early to make sure payments arrive by the due date.

Residents can pay online through the town's tax payment portal, in person at the Treasurer/Collector's Office in Town Hall during business hours, or by using the Treasurer's drop-box outside the Town Hall main entrance, which is available day or night. Payments can also be made by phone through InvoiceCloud at 844-234-3779, or by mail to Town of Brookline, P.O. Box 9106, Brookline, MA 02446-9106.

Online and phone payments carry fees set by the bank processing the transaction; the town said it has no control over those fees. Checks should be made payable to "Town of Brookline" and should include the bill remittance slip or bill number.

For more information, residents can visit BrooklineMA.gov/TreasurerCollector or contact the Treasurer/Collector's Office by email at [email protected] or by phone at 617-730-2020.
