Brookline Soccer Club opens registration for fall youth travel programs with a July 15 deadline for K–2 players.
BROOKLINE -- The Brookline Soccer Club is accepting registrations for its fall youth travel programs. Players in kindergarten through second grade — boys and girls — may sign up through July 15 with no tryout required. Rising third- through eighth-graders seeking spots on town travel or Premier Club teams were directed to attend assessments; the club's website notes that spring travel team rosters for grades 3–8 are full and that tryouts were held June 14. The club also offers camps and clinics for players in grades K–12.
No high school games were reported for the period. The Brookline Recreation Department and town government websites returned no substantive sports programming content this week. Brookline Youth Hockey's website lists 19 teams and 280 players across its travel and developmental programs, along with 58 Learn to Play skaters, but posted no activity specific to this period. The brooklinelacrosse.org site remains under construction.
