Brookline Reopens Lotta Bradburn Schick Park After Renovation
The Brookline Golf Course has reopened all 18 holes and will mark the occasion with a community event next Friday, while the town confirmed that Town Hall roof construction will begin later than planned, on July 20.

The Brookline Golf Course has reopened its full 18-hole course and will host a community event on July 17, the town's News Flash announced. Separately, the town updated residents that the Town Hall roof construction project, previously expected to start sooner, has been delayed to Monday, July 20; the News Flash post includes details on visiting Town Hall during the work.
Real estate and personal property tax bills, mailed June 30, are due Monday, August 3, 2026, according to the town's homepage announcements.

The Public Library of Brookline has a busy slate of hands-on programming this week. On Sunday, July 12, the library's Coolidge Corner branch hosts a Summer Reading Plant Swap, where residents can trade excess plants and pick up new ones, with soil and compostable pots provided. On Monday, July 13, families can join "Plant a Seed, Read," a produce-stamping art program for children ages four to ten and their accompanying siblings and grownups, no ticket required. On Wednesday, July 15, the library offers a flower-printing workshop where participants use rubber mallets to transfer floral imprints onto fabric.
