The MBTA's Beacon Street Greenline C-branch will close entirely for the week of Saturday, August 8 through Sunday, August 16, 2026, for station construction tied to the ongoing accessibility project, according to a Town of Brookline News Flash update. Shuttle bus diversions will be provided during the closure, though the town's notice did not specify shuttle stop locations or frequency; riders are advised to plan ahead for the disruption.
Residents should also note that real estate and personal property tax bills, mailed June 30, are due Monday, August 3.
