Brookline High Ranks Among Mass. Top Public Schools
Brookline High School placed among Massachusetts' top-ranked public high schools in U.S. News's newly released 2026-27 rankings, according to Brookline Patch. The recognition lands the same week voters begin sorting out a Sept. 1 state primary ballot complicated by the town's overlapping legislative districts, and the Public Library of Brookline adds a new summer art session.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The Public Library of Brookline is adding an Aug. 25 "Summer Sessions: Nature Collaging" program at its Brookline Village location, part of the library's Plant a Seed, Read summer theme, inviting patrons to build a nature-themed collage to take home.
Wednesday brings three recurring library offerings: the English Club ELL Conversation Group for language learners, a free Movie Matinee at the Coolidge Corner branch, and the Millennial Book Group, a low-commitment read-and-discuss meetup for millennial-identified residents.
